Proposed Temporary Road Closure - L-2532-0 Bridge Street

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic the road described hereunder each night Wednesday 6th August 2025 and Thursday 7th August 2025 from 7:00 pm until 7:00 am the following morning to facilitate Irish Water undertake sewer connection works on Bridge Street, Cavan.

Road Closed:

L-2532-0 Bridge Street, Cavan from its junction with the L-2533-0 (Abbey Street) & the L-2536-0 (Road to Bridge Street Car Park) to its junction with the L-25321-0 (River Street).

Alternative Route:

L-2533-0 (Abbey Street) to the R-212-3 (Farnham Street) to R-212-3 (Coleman Road).

Any objections to the above road closure should be lodged in writing with the undersigned not later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, 15th July 2025.
