Estate Enhancement Grant Scheme 2025

05 Feb 2025

Cavan County Council wishes to announce the following grants scheme. Resident groups of local authority sponsored estates (estates in social housing areas or estates where the Council owns one house or more) are invited to apply.

Under this scheme grants are available to qualifying estate groups, for the improvement and upkeep of shared spaces in housing estates.

In conjunction, the Council will also hold an awards competition. Estates which are awarded a grant will automatically be included.

Examples of the type of work, which may be eligible for grant purposes

Maintenance of green & open areas
Estate Clean Up Days
The promotion of wildlife, biodiversity and climate change interests
Waste minimisation – reducing, reusing, recycling & upcycling
Purchase of bedding plants, shrubs and trees
Community art or sculpture
