Road Closure - L5568 Creenagh Glebe

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from Monday, 26 August to Friday, 30 August and again from Monday, 2 September to Tuesday, 3 September 2024, from 8am to 6pm each day for the purposes of resurfacing works.

Roads closed:

L-5568-0 from its junction with the L-1521-0 in the townland of Drumroosk to its junction with the L-5569-0 in the townland of Creenagh Glebe.

Alternative Route:

Southbound – From Junction L-1521-0 / L-5568-0 travel south via L-1521-0 & L-1522-0 to Junction L-1522-0 / L-5568-0, then northwards along L-5568-0 to Junction L-5568-0 / L-5569-0. End of detour.
Northbound – The same route in reverse will apply to northbound traffic.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
