Night time closure N3 Cornaslieve

All temporary emergency and proposed road closures are subject to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulation 1994

The N3 will be closed overnight in the townland of Cornaslieve from 7.30pm until 5.30am from Monday, 16 September to Thursday, 19 September 2024 to facilitate essential pavement repair works and road resurfacing.

Alternative route:

Traffic travelling northbound through Virginia will be diverted onto the R194 road to Ballyjamesduff and diverted onto the R196 for New Inns Junction.
Traffic travelling southbound from Cavan will be diverted onto the R196 road to Ballyjamesduff and diverted onto the R194 for Virginia.

Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as possible.
