Emergency Road Closure - R165

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder on Monday, 28 October until Friday, 6 December2024 to facilitate the repair of a retaining wall on the R165 in the Townland of Corraneary, Stradone.

Roads Closed:

R165 from the junction of the N3 Lavey to the junction of the L-2004 at the Cross Pub Stradone.

Diversion Routes:

From Lavey divert via the N3 via Cavan By-Pass via R188 Cootehill Rd to Rakenny Via R165 to Stradone and vice versa.

Local access only will be accommodated.
