Emergency Road Closure – L6542 Arvagh

All temporary emergency and proposed road closures are subject to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulation 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder, from Wednesday, 14th to Friday, 23rd August between the hours of 9am and 4pm for the purpose of emergency drainage works.

Road to be closed:

L6542 Arvagh to Farrangarve from its junction with the R198 (Arvagh) to its junction with the R198 (Farrangarve).

Alternative Route:

Divert via the R198 in Arvagh to the junction with the L6542 at Farrangarve.
The same diversion route will apply in reverse.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.

Local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
