Emergency Road Closure – L3545 and L3005

Temporary emergency and proposed road closures are subject to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Roads Regulation 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the roads described hereunder from 8am on Monday 7 October to 6pm on Saturday, 12 October to facilitate essential works associated with the current Assan Bridge Project.

Roads closed:

Load Roads L3545 and L3005 for the purpose of essential works associated with the Assan Bridge Project.

Alternative route:

Traffic travelling towards Grousehall from New Inns Junction will be diverted onto the N3 road and diverted onto the R165 (Lavey Inn - Bailieborough Road) for Grousehall.

Traffic travelling towards N3 (New Inns Junction) will be diverted onto the R165 road to N3 (Lavey Inn).

Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as far as possible.
