Emergency Road Closure: L1532 Drumgola - Coolboyoge

Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994

Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council has made an order to close to public traffic the road described hereunder from  Monday, 24 June 2024 until 6pm on Friday, 28 June 2024 for the purposes of road strengthening works and again on Monday, 1 July to Friday 5 July 2024, from 8am to 6pm each day for the purposes of resurfacing works.

Roads closed

L-1532-0 from its junction with the N-3-12 (Cavan By-pass) in the townland of Drumahurk to its junction with the L-1513-0 (Loreto Road) in the townland of Drumgola.  

Alternative Route

• Southbound: From Junction N-3-12 / L-1532-0 travel southeast via N-3-12 to Junction N-3-12 / R-212-5, then northwards along R-212-5 to Junction R-212-5 / R-212-1, then southwestwards along R-212-1 to Junction R-212-1 / R-212-2 / L-1532-0 (Latt Roundabout), then northwestwards along L-1532-0 to Junction L-1532-0 / L-1513-0 (Loreto Road). End of detour.
• Northbound: The same alternative route in reverse will apply to northbound traffic.

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works.
