Traffic and Parking Survey - Cavan Town

Cavan County Council has appointed IDASO Ltd to carry out traffic and parking surveys at various locations, in and around Cavan Town and its environs, starting from Monday, 27 March for a period of one week.

Automatic traffic counters and cameras will be installed at various locations (indicated in the map below) to record pedestrian and vehicle traffic counts.

The results of anonymised traffic data collected during these surveys will be used to inform the Cavan Town Local Transport Plan / Area Based Transport Assessment (ABTA) currently being developed.
