Road Closure - L-1030-0 The Marsh Road

The L-1030-0, locally known as The Marsh Road, will be closed from its junction with the N-87-4 in the townland of Bawnboy to its junction with the R-202-0 in the townland of Muineal from Monday, 10 July to Friday, 14 July 2023, from 8am to 6pm each day for the purposes of resurfacing works.

Roads closed: 

L-1030-0 (known locally as “The Marsh Road”) from its junction with the N-87-4 in the townland of Bawnboy to its junction with the R-202-0 in the townland of Muineal.  

Alternative route: 

• Westbound – Travel north-westwards from Junction N-87-4 / L-1030-0 along N-87 to Derrynacreeve Junction (Junction N-87-4 / N-87-5 / R-202-0), then southwards along R-202-0 to Devine’s Cross (Junction R-202-0 / L-1030-0) in the townland of Muineal to rejoin the L-1030-0. End of detour. 
• Eastbound - The same alternative route in reverse will apply to eastbound traffic. 

Diversions will be signposted for the duration of the works. Local access only will be accommodated as far as practicable.
