Do Not Consume Notice Lifted - Dernakesh GWS

Following consultation with the Health Service Executive, Cavan County Council has lifted the Do Not Consume Notice for Dernakesh Group Water Supply Scheme.

If consumers' internal/domestic water system has been in general use throughout the period since 6th June 2023 you may now use your water supply as normal.

As a final precautionary measure consumers on the Dernakesh Group Water Scheme whose water systems have not been in use since 6th June 2023 should ensure that they flush out their systems by running their hot and cold taps for a period of at least thirty minutes before resuming normal use of the water supply.
