Proposed Temporary Road Closure - L7108, Millstream Bridge (Mullagh)
Temporary Closing of Roads pursuant to Section 75 of Roads Act 1993 and Article 12 of Road Regulations 1994.
Notice is hereby given that Cavan County Council intends to close to public traffic and pedestrians, the roads described hereunder from 8am Monday 13th July to 5pm Friday 7th August for the purpose of Bridge Rehabilitation works at Millstream Bridge (Mullagh).
Roads Closed
- Local road L7108 from its junctions with the R194 & L3020. Private residents on the L7108 will have access at all times via the L3020
Alternative Route
- Traffic travelling east on the R194 wishing to turn right onto the L7108, will be diverted to continue straight on the R194 to the junction with the R191, then southwest on the L3020, then northwest back onto the L7108
- Traffic travelling northeast on the L3020 wishing to use the L7108 will be diverted to continue straight on the L3020 to the junction with the R194 turning west onto the R194 and then south, back onto the L7108.
Local traffic in the area will be accommodated as much as possible but there will no through road at Millstream Bridge. Residents on the L7107 will have access from the L3020 at all times.
