County Cavan Community Safety Survey - Have Your Say!

Cavan Local Community Safety Partnership has launched a county-wide Community Safety Survey and is encouraging everyone to have their say.

The survey will help shape the development of a new County Cavan Community Safety Plan 2026–2028.

This survey is an important step in understanding what matters most to people across the county when it comes to community safety. By sharing your views and experiences, you can help ensure that local priorities and actions reflect the real concerns of those who live, work and visit County Cavan.

Community safety — both being safe and feeling safe — is a fundamental part of quality of life. The Local Community Safety Partnership is keen to hear voices from across our communities to ensure the plan reflects a broad range of lived experiences.

The feedback received will play a vital role in identifying key community safety challenges, needs and opportunities, and will directly inform the development of the new three-year plan.

The survey is open to all residents aged 12 years and over and can be completed either online or in paper format.

The Local Community Safety Partnerships have been established by the Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration in each local authority area across Ireland. The objective of the Partnership is to improve community safety and well-being through a

collaborative, community-led approach by bringing together residents, local authorities, state services and community representatives to create and implement local community safety plans.
